Designing the future of dispute resolution- The ODR Policy Plan for India
JALDI was engaged by NITI Aayog to be a part of the Expert Committee on ODR chaired by Former Supreme Court Judge, Justice (Retd) A.K. Sikri. We contributed to the drafting of the policy plan for mainstreaming ODR in India . The policy plan recommended increasing digital infrastructure, building capacity, regulatory framework, including permission for online notarization, and implementing ODR in a phased manner for different categories of disputes.
