Court Infrastructure

Courts function both as the point of contact for litigants with the judicial system, and as workspaces for judges, court staff, and lawyers. We at JALDI have worked with experts from architecture, accessibility, spatial design etc. to analyse gaps in physical court infrastructure, and design user-centric, inclusive and adaptable Indian courts for the 21st century.

Therefore, we at JALDI have continuously focused on the need to build better courts and engaged with diverse actors to enable this. Below is a snapshot of our work on this theme.
